This Privacy Policy covers both Thryve Again and Thryve Kitchen, developed and operated by Thryve Studio. By using either app, you agree to the practices described here.

Who We Are

Thryve Studio is an independent mobile app studio building apps that help people connect and learn. We operate Thryve Again (a dating app) and Thryve Kitchen (a voice-coached cooking education app).

When this policy says "we," "us," or "Thryve Studio," it refers to the developer and operator of these applications. When it says "you" or "user," it refers to any person who downloads, installs, or uses either app.

What We Collect

We only collect what we need to make the apps work well for you. Here's exactly what that means for each app:

What we do not collect: location data, contacts, health or fitness data, browsing history, or any data from other apps on your device.

Payments: If you subscribe to Thryve Kitchen Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and Apple/Google. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, but we never see or store your credit card number or full payment details.

How We Use It

We use the data we collect for the following purposes only:

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

To deliver the functionality in our apps, we work with the following service providers. Each has their own privacy policy that governs how they handle data.

Deepgram
Speech-to-Text (Thryve Kitchen)
Converts your voice commands to text in real time during cook mode. Audio is processed on Deepgram's servers and is not stored permanently.

Generates spoken coaching responses to your questions during cook mode. Receives your query text plus session context (step, ingredients, skill level).

Text-to-Speech (Thryve Kitchen)
Converts AI responses to the spoken voice coaching you hear in the app. Receives the text of each response for audio synthesis.

Stripe
Payment Processing
Handles all subscription billing for Thryve Kitchen Pro. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

Authentication
Used for account creation and sign-in. Apple may share a relay email address with us instead of your real email if you choose to hide it.

Used for account creation and sign-in on Android. Only your name and email are passed to us.

We only share data with these services as required to provide their functionality. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@thryvestudio.app or use the delete account option in app settings.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

California residents (CCPA), EU/UK residents (GDPR), and residents of other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights. We honor all lawful data requests.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@thryvestudio.app. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Thryve Again is intended for users 18 and older.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and access controls that limit who can access user data internally.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@thryvestudio.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we'll notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the apps after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
